Green Kids

Join us for "Green Kids," a 30-minute webinar for you and the kids in your life to learn about different environmental issues, ask questions and do activities that are fun for the whole family.

Sign up for one or all of our upcoming "Green Kids" events:

Keep Plastic Out of the Pacific (Wednesday 3/18 at 3:00 p.m.). We will do a reading of Myrtle the Turtle, discuss how we can reduce plastic waste and learn how to make our own reusable bags using old t-shirts.

Protecting Pollinators (Thursday 3/19 at 10:30 a.m.). We will talk about what amazing creatures bees are, how they are threatened and what we can do to protect them. Then we will show you how to make bee friendly seed balls.

Using your voice (Friday 3/20 at 11:00 a.m.). We will talk about the environmental movement and how important it is for you to make your voice heard on issues you care about. We will draw pictures and/or write letters to your member of Congress.

You will need a computer, tablet or other device -- preferably with a webcam so we can interact with you -- and some basic materials to do our activities, all stuff most of us have around the house.

Directions

We will send you the webinar login information a couple of hours ahead of the event.
