Let Governor Brown know that you want climate action!

After the president announced last year that the United States would withdraw from the Paris Climate Agreement, Governor Brown said not so fast. She joined fourteen other governors and 2,500 leaders of cities, counties, corporations and universities in committing to slash pollution on their own. Now Oregon has an opportunity to follow through.

The governor backs legislation that would put a hard limit on pollution in Oregon, forcing emissions down over time. The Clean Energy Jobs Bill would also make polluters pay, providing funding for programs that will help Oregon reduce and adapt to the impacts of climate change.

But the governor faces tough opposition to the bill from polluting interests.
